Our Activities and Projects in the Philippines
1) Our Activities in Ramadan:
Iftar-Suhur Treats for our Students: Every Ramadan, we organize special iftar and sahur treats for our students who study in our courses. Distribution of Food Parcels to the Muslim Community: During Ramadan, we distribute food and aid parcels to our Muslim brothers and sisters in designated neighborhoods to support their iftar and sahur tables. Eid Clothes and Eid Allowance for our Students: With the contributions of our sponsors, we provide Eid clothes and Eid allowances to our students so that they can spend Eid al-Fitr with joy.
2) Qurban Organization:
Wajib Qurban for the Meat Needs of Our Students: Every Eid al-Adha, we meet the meat needs of our students throughout the year by distributing some of the donated qurbans to the Muslim community and storing some of them. Yearly Qurban (Aqiqah, Nazar, Sedekah etc) By qurbans sent by our sponsors throughout the year, we contribute to the fulfillment of their prayers and support our students' consumption of fresh meat.
3) Circumcision Organization:
With the doctors we bring from Turkey, we are fulfilling The Prophet's (ﷺ) sunnah by circumcising young children in a healthy and sterile environment in a painless manner.
4) Hafiz Sponsorship Project:
We support our students, especially orphans hafiz students, who are not able to afford it, to complete their hafiz studies by sponsoring them.
5) Rehal Project:
It is a project that we have initiated in order to ensure that our students study comfortably and effectively by carefully designing the rehals that they will use while memorizing the Holy Quran.
6) Furnishing Project:
This is a project we have prepared to meet the furniture needs of Suleymaniye Madrasahs in the Philippines and to ensure that our Hafiz students study in a comfortable and decent environment with high standards.
7) Food Festival:
This is a project we organized to promote Turkish culture in the Philippines and to meet the needs of our madrasah. The proceeds from the food sold are directed to meet the needs of our madrasah.
8) Quiz Contests:
It is an activity that we organize once every semester in order to measure the knowledge of our students and increase their motivation among their intensive study programs.
9) Picnic-Visit Programs:
It is an activity that we organize to ensure that our students relax mentally and physically while studying and to make hafiz and staying in the madrasah fun.
10) Summer Student Programs
During school vacations, we help young primary school students learn basic Islamic knowledge by giving them Quran, Siyar, Islamic Ethics lessons both in boarding and daytime. We make our program fun by including various treats and social activities so that they do not get bored. At the end of the program, we give certificates to each participating student.
11) Fire and Emergency Drills
In order to raise awareness among our students studying in our Suleymaniye Madrasahs, every year we organize an awareness seminar for fire and emergencies in our course with the officers we request from the city fire department and we conduct drills in the garden of our course in the presence of the officers.
